The Arri Alexa Classic EV uses a 35 ALEV III format CMOS sensor. With ISO 800 and 2.8K, it has a shutter speed of 14+ with 7 overexposure stops and another 7 underexposure stops. This gives the camera more flexibility when it comes to color correction, and allows you to capture more detail in both bright and dark areas.
