The PLx2 VV optical extender doubles the focal length of PL mount lenses. Thanks to its compact optical and mechanical design, the PLx2 VV is compatible with a wide range of lenses.
The PLx2 VV features high refractive index, low dispersion glass to provide the highest possible resolution and contrast with minimal optical degradation. When the image size is doubled, the transmitted light is spread over the area four times, decreasing the brightness by two aperture stops. The optical design is optimized for modern lenses and digital cameras, and has a maximum input T-stop of 1.9.
