Cooke S4i

The English company Cooke produces a wide range of lenses for cinema, which have high optical and mechanical characteristics. The multi-layer coating used to make them provides a special character to the image, which in the world of cinema is called the look Cooke – soft, with rich warm tones.
All S4/i Prime lenses have an Arriflex PL mount and an 8-stop aperture. The lenses are color matched with Cooke 18-100mm T3.0 and 25-250mm T3.7 zoom lenses. The original design of the optical system maintains high optical performance even at large geometric apertures and any illumination, which makes it possible to obtain images without glare, distortion and spherical aberrations. Responsive to Super 35 format.
